Jennie Harris joins V2 Performance as a Nutritionist with a focus on wellness promotion and disease prevention. She graduated from the University of Utah’s Coordinated Master’s Program in Dietetics with an emphasis on sports nutrition.
Jennie has experience providing individualized counseling, group education and community instruction to a variety of populations. Some of her favorite nutrition topics include: weight management, sports nutrition, wilderness nutrition, special diets, and nutrition for pregnancy.
She believes success with nutrition is found through intuitive and mindful eating, and by making small changes over time. Jennie has published an article ‘Fueling the Wilderness Athlete,’ in Wilderness Medicine.
Jennie also has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and is currently finishing her studies to become a Registered Dietitian..
